Book of Iole. Mrs. Goldberg 5.

B.I.  Mrs. G. 5.  ID408.  24/6/15.

From Mrs. Goldberg (mysteriously appearing in my inbox without a sender address):  Apologies for the insistent, incessant verbosity of my devotee, Merlin Merculisse l’eremito mago di Victoria, he who placed Excalibur near Mercer Island.   He is computer and visually inept belonging to the ancient alchemical world.  His Socratic zeal is exacerbated by his bedazzlement with my pupil Iolessa La Strega Magnifica, strana e bizzarra (most beautiful woman conceivable who therefore exists necessarily).  Nevertheless, I esteem his obsequies and frequent libations of Liquore Strega.  His perceptions, especially of myself, will improve with Confucian rectification of names and the program of cyber Zen Shock Therapy prescribed and directed by La Strega.  The d’Inverno of his discontent will not become his Inferno of eternal torment (though he would like to check out Francesca da Rimini).  He is after all an avatar of Mercury/Hermes, messenger of the gods, and also Ulysses/Odysseus, as you can tell from his name.

Very soon Pegasus or my pet unicorn Virginia will carry me into your midst.  Goddess (Goodness, Mrs. Goldberg) be with you if She exists.
